The Heroes of Tajikistan

I know some heroes of Tajikistan. They are: Bobojon Gafurov, Sadriddin Ayni, Emomali Rahmon, Mirzo Tursunzoda, Nusratullo Makhsum and Shirinshoh Shohtemur. I want to tell you about some of them. Sadriddin Ayni is the founder of modern Tajik literature. He was born in 1878 in the village Soktare, Gijduvon Region. In 1890 he came to Bukhara and studied at many medresses Miri Arab, Hoji Zohid, Kukaltosh. He wrote his first poem in 1896. He is the author of the books: “Yatim”, “Margi Sudhur”, “Odina”, “Old school.”
Piece lover poet is Mirzo Tursunzoda. He was born in 1911 in the village Karatog, Hissar district. His father Tursun was a carpenter. He studied at the Pedagogical school in Dushanbe 1925-1927. In 1927-31 he studied at the Teachers Training Institute in Tashkent and got the higher education. After completing the Institute in 1931 he came back to Dushanbe and worked for the newspaper “Komsomoli Tojikiston.” In 1934-37 Mirzo lived in Khujand and created many works. From 1946 to the end of his life he was the Head of the Tojikiston writers Union.
